  1. Can anyone tell me if maxima clams become easier or more difficult to keep as they get larger? Ive always had mixed to poor luck with maximas, but not crocea or squamosa, but somehow it never struck me until now that Ive mostly gotten large(r) crocea/squamosa, Ive ONLY gotten very small maximas(1.5"-2" at most). I would love to try again, but i don't want to just kill them, so I'm wondering if I should just avoid maximas altogether, or if larger ones(4", 5", 6", +) are less delicate and difficult? Would larger maxima difficulty(or lack of) be comparable to larger crocea/squamosa/derasa, or at least much easier than little ones?
  2. Ive never dealt with lyretail anthias, so I'm not really sure what to expect. Would they eat fish small enough to swallow? I know some anthias will, but no clue about most. What about reef compatability? Would they eat small shrimp and such, cause it will have fish and shrimp in sizes down to tiny(maybe even sexy shrimp)? Would that work, or would I need to put it into FOWLR? At the moment I have a TINY, barely larger than an inch&1/2, convict blenny in my QT, which MIGHT be small enough to fit in the mouth of a lyretail I'd like to get. If I get the anthias it would have to go in with the blenny. Is that a risky situation? Thanks for any and all help, everyone:)
  3. So I just got a smaller tank and Im trying to decide what fish I want to put into it, sadly they have to be somewhat reef safe so Im not open to all options. My tank will be mostly LPS and zoas. Any thoughts or experience on what fish do well in a smaller tank...?
