  1. Hello! Just to start off, thanks to everyone in general for being so helpful! I noticed today that there is something growing from the live rock in one of my students' tanks. I'm trying to make sure it's not something I need to be worried about. I know you can get both good and bad hitchhikers on live rock, so help identifying would be much appreciated! I've attached a picture I took. From what I've been seeing online it looks like it might be a Glass Anemone, but since I'm inexperienced, I wanted to double check.
  2. Saw this creature today sticking out of my substrate. It's appeared to be grazing on sand/algae. I searched online and closet one I found is peanut worm. however, this thing has a bigger and rounder head than peanut worm. Any idea what this is?
  3. I found this hitchhiker in rock of corals I got today. Was going to dump out the water and notice something moving. Sucker bit me (did not hurt) when I tried to scoop it with my hand. Snap a few pics to get a positive ID. Appears to to a baby snapping/pistol shrimp. It about 1/2" long; greenish and clear body with stripe; 1 large and one tiny snappers. Whatever it is, I released it into my refugium. Hope to see it grow up in there.
