Hi All, I have switch my phone to iphone I am not being able to find a reef calculating app. I like the Reef Chemestry calculater provided on marine depot since it has Brightwell Calcion (liquid, 150,000ppm), Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium (powder), Seachem Reef Builder (powder) and ESV 2 part, (I wish they had kalk but they don't) but its a pain to use a web app on a phone its just does not adjust to the phone screen so you have to scroll and guess Any advice would be highly appreciated Happy Reefing!!

For a while I was dosing Alk (ESV) at night to keep the pH swing a little more in check, usually about 8.0 to 8.1. I switched back to dosing throughout the day to maintain a constant alk throughout the day. The result of a continual dose over 24 hrs is a pH swing of 7.9 to 8.1. I'm curious what others are doing out there. Is anyone dosing Alk primarily at night to mitigate pH swing? Any thoughts on this? That said my SPS seem to be doing pretty well on the 24 hour dosing cycle. I'm not getting explosive growth but noticeable gains. Thanks for any input.

Anyone checked to see if they could hack into the Jebao dosing pump via the back port to program it? might be interesting if you could use a serial connection or connect that port to an Apex I think its just for daisy chaining expansions? I just got mine and havent had a chance to do anything other than open the box...

has anyone ever heard of these? I was digging around on Ebay for some loc line parts and came across these http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281368424062&ssPageName=ADME:X:BOCOR:US:1123 they look small and sleek and very affordable, but seems too good to be true, not sure if it's worth taking a gamble on, I have never owned a dosing system so I dont really know what i'm looking for.
