Hi, I am new but a buddy recommended I take a look here for my questions.
I am looking for a substitute for sand substrates, I bought a few here and there from pet-smart but the down side was that they had large and fine particles in the same bag, and over time the smaller particles would break down the equipment, and larger particles would be sucked out in a water change(along with any remaining smaller particles) I understand I can use pool sand for a substitute, where would I get such a thing? and would it suit my purpose? my Cory cats will thank you <3
