  6. I'm sorry to hear about the loss, Ben. My GF hated that I lost pretty much all of her favorites during a tank upgrade also back in March/April. Luckily MACNA was a couple months around the corner which helped me re-stock. I let nature take it's course and did my best feeding with food soaked in garlic and Selcon.
  7. Maybe peel off with gauze and brush remaining area with kalk paste?
  8. Hi Wamas, At MACNA, I was in discussions with the guys at the Prodibio booth and they almost convinced me to buy their reef kit online. Essentially, reef kit is an all in one at roughly $45 for just a few doses, is it really worth it? I wanted to see if anyone had success long term using this stuff. Thanks~
  9. 1st bowl I ever owned was when I was 5; both goldfish died same night (rookie mistake) ... Since then, I've had: 46g Bow front (Fresh) 95g Wave (Fresh) 120g (salt) 180g (salt)

  11. I notice debris in after mixing on occasion. I wish I took a pic of the solution near the end of the bottle. Just checking to see if anyone else had this issue also and if it affected performance of the solution.
  12. All, I recently noticed that as I get closer to the bottom of my ALK mixture, the liquid has a slight clear brown coloration to it. I would have taken a pic but I tossed it out with about 50-100ml remaining. Does anyone else notice this with using the BRS 2part? Thanks, Ron
  13. Very nice indeed! Good luck and congrat's to the person who gets it.
  14. Dave, if you are willing to drive out to Bowie, I have a 50g tank and stand I can donate. You can pm me for more info if you are interested.
  15. I think Lyretail anthias can get a little large. My pick will be the sunburst's, Bartlett's or resplendent's
  16. The exact reason I got into reefing! relaxes me until water change day...
  17. I would concider starting a sea slug tank in the future. Especially if they become more mainstream.
  18. Just realized how beautiful these little fellers are... http://getstunned.blogspot.com/2015/04/worlds-top-10-most-amazing-sea-slugs.html
  19. I used it to re-caulk my 180 bowfront about 5 months ago. So far so good. Cured for about 7-10 days before leak testing.
