Recommendation on reliable dosers?

I currently have the Jebao dosing pump to dose 3 liquids and want to upgrade to a better, more reliable kind. What are some pumps that you recommend? Looking for a good mix of price/reliability, thank you.

I went with individual dosing pumps; in the event of failure, I have one issue vice multiple (potentially). The downside is using up 2-4 relays instead of one that could be a standard outlet and the required space to support multiple pumps.

Are you using the BRS brand? They can't be programmed, right? Just controlled with on/off.

I’ve been using the Coralbox WiFi doser from Reefbreeders to dose Triton and it’s worked well.

This one actually seems fairly good and affordable, thanks for the tip. Did you run into any problems using it?

I have the older version of this and have been running it for almost 8 years. It’s awesome.

I was eyeing that but it seems out of stock on BRS, Thanks for the tip

I like my Kamoer dosser

I'm seeing a lot of people complain about the wifi connectivity, have you experienced this?

I use the BRS pumps and no, they can not be programmed. They're a simple on/off pump solution but they're built pretty sturdy.

I really like my GHL Doser 2. Easy to setup, also has an App.

+1 on the GHL Doser 2 ... well, 2.1 in my case.

As an added bonus, one of the pumps can be used to ATO or AWC on smaller tanks (e.g. systems that require ~1g or less of top-off per day). The ability to remove my previous, separate ATO pump and use the 4th pump on my Doser was a great space save inside the stand for my 24g.

I haven't had any issues with the doser itself.  I did have some problems with air in my lines but Logan at Reefbreeders helped get me straight on that.  The unit has worked great, stayed calibrated and the wi-fi app is really convenient and easy to use.

I know when the new GHL 2.1 Dosers first came out, there was a batch of units that had an issue with the roller wheels scraping against their plastic covers, but that was resolved quite some time ago.  Not aware of any issues aside from that ... at least none that I've personally experienced.

That said, most any of the popular dosers will work just fine. The REAL key is to compare them side to see which one has the most appropriate functions/capabilities for your system.

Another recommendation for the BRS dosers, I've had mine for something like 6-7+ years now and they still work like champs. I check their output every 1-2 years to make sure they're still putting out the 1.1ml they are supposed to and it looks like they still are.

Apparently they were much closer to their rated spec 6-7 years ago; mine both produce 1.9ml and from the reviews on BRS, this seems to be pretty normal.

How do you control the on/off function? Are you using a controller like the apex? I think that would definitely be more than I am willing to spend for the dosing solution.

I have a Reef Angel that I use to control it, bit cheaper than some of the other controllers out there if you're willing to work a little bit more for it.

Unless you're trying to get fancy, the Reef Angel is a piece of cake with the wizard.

+1 on the GHL Doser 2.1.  Easy to use and programmable.  Switch from the litermeter w/two pump attachment.  The litermeter is reliable but not as user friendly for me.  If you interested, they are available.

I have two Kamoer 4 channels, one set up as a slave (does anyone else cringe in using that term?  Why call it that?). Back to the equipment... easy to set up. I remember the instructions were a bit confusing at first, but got the hang of it. Lots of functionality. On the pricey side, but not a single issue in over 5 years of constant use (hope this didn't just jinx me). I just recently tested it to check the instrument's accuracy to see if it is still calibrated and it is still spot on. But, if it is off you can calibrate it. Can't really go wrong with peristaltic pumps that are created for hospitals.
