I know there are some smaller basslets that can be kept together, but I'm wondering specifically about the liopropoma family. Although im also wondering about keeping chalk bass with them. I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, that unless it's a very large tank, same liopropoma species cannot be safely kept together (Swissguard/swissguard, swalesi/swalesi, etc), although I believe I've seen multiple candy basslets together, at least temporarily, but I'm wondering(hoping!!!!)if different liopropoma types can be together since they look exactly alike except their colors. I'm also wondering about those deepwater basslets that are very similarly shaped but different patterns and colors. I know some get significantly larger, so again, I'm just wondering about those of similar sizes.

I think a tank just full of many different little basslets would be absolutely amazing!

I just put a swissguard into a 300g tank. It was such an expensive fish and hard to get in such pristine health, that I wouldn't want to risk putting it with another one only to have a fight and possible death.

If you want a pack of basslets, do a shoal of chalks or a group of assessors.

Yeah, I love the chalks. It would be so awesome tho, having a tank with all the swissguard looking ones with just different color stripes! As u mentioned tho, they ain't cheap! ESPECIALLY candy basslets, so I wouldn't even dream of taking that chance unless it was a large general concencus that it's ok!

Can you even find the little guy? Since the hide a lot during the day, I thought the ideal thing was to put them in small(relatively)tanks so itd be more likely to catch glimpses now and then. I'd be afraid I'd never see him again. Does yours ever make appearances?
