Cycling tank lights on or off

Cycling tank lights on or off

 

So my tank is set up nothing in it just cycling with live rock and live sand should I have the lights on or off. I'm also going out of town for a week the tank has ato and should be good I leave this Friday was just wondering if I should run the lights on a timer or just leave them off

I start everything up the way I intend to run it from day one; in the end, I don't think it make any difference.

Everything I've read - and done personally - when setting up new tanks is to run everything like you would normally including the lights, skimmer, etc.  I'm also not sure if it makes a huge difference but that's what I've always done and it's worked well for me
