WCorbin82 December 1, 2016 Share December 1, 2016 I was in Home Depot today and noticed this 250 w MH bulb by Phillips and I was wondering if this would work in my MH fixture which is 250 watt ballast. Also does Lumens and Kelvin mean the same thing I see on this it says 21K Lumens. I currently have a 20K radium bulb on my (lights not installed yet over the tank). Does this mean it's a deeper blue color in the bulb? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Origami December 1, 2016 Share December 1, 2016 Spectrum is probably different - almost assuredly different than your Radium. It's probably more yellow to fit the needs of people working in industrial environments. After all, who would regularly like to work under a blue light? Lumens is a measure of light intensity, not color temperature. It will work when driven by an M58 electronic ballast.
Origami December 1, 2016 Share December 1, 2016 Here's what bulbs.com has on the model of lamp that you've identified. Their page indicates that it has a color temp of 4,000K.
