zygote2k October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 I got this tank from Isaac a while back. It's been running since May. Runs on stock return pump, sponge filter, and carbon. 4) of the 8w Skkye lights- no moonlights. A pair of Custom Clowns Cleaner Shrimp Peppermint Shrimp Big rock with pulsing Xenia, Favia, blue shroom, and a ton of Featherdusters. A square foot of GSP Octospawn Purple/Green Hammer 12 snails 2 hermits Tons of pods and some Dragons Breath too. It grows a beautiful strain of Cyanobacteria too. I think it contrasts nicely against the GSP- almost like Xmas... Once every 2-4 week 3-5 gallon water changes, a random splash of 2-part and daily feeding. Joshifer November 6, 2016 Share November 6, 2016 Cyano is caused by low flow? Sorry I know you guys are joking around but I want to avoid it. My diatoms finally stopped.
zygote2k November 6, 2016 Author Share November 6, 2016 Cyano is just another part of the cycle. When it gets out competed, it will die. Until then it's a nice contrast to the GSP.
