I hear the 9004 can be very sensitive to adjust but dont hear much on the 9012 and I hear the ghost fullsize isn't as good as desktop or midsize. Both if these skimmers will fit In rear with lid closed. Chalices, euphyllias, utter chaos, few sps, clam.... mostly lps and sps... transfered all my softies and polyps to my 40b. And purchased one of the famous well at least down here in central VA Aquabox ATO container just need to go pick up. Changing out my radion xr15pro for a giesmann infiniti 1x150w MH 4x24w T5 I'm getting. need to make my mind up on the skimmer and get my stand built. khh27 December 28, 2015 Author Share December 28, 2015 Ok everyone fullsize fits wonderfully and even with lid I did have to take the cover off the pump because there is a bump on it when on wide open the skimmer body was hitting so as it was going down it was turning the pump on lowest setting. Taking it off doesn't bother me any otherwise I was going to put pump on other side with other one and run it under and 90° it up to bulkhead. Also thought about taking it down to a single 500-600gph pump it's so big back there was thinking about a dc 3000 or something similar and T it off to both. khh27 August 1, 2016 Author Share August 1, 2016 Alright... setting this up.. not going to be anything special right now just a nem tank with different colored BTAS and some clowns and other fish. Got to finish up stand and get some sand. Going to be using a xr30 for lighting and going to run a H-E-double hockey sticks of a long aquabus cable to tie it into my other tank via apex. Will have EB 8, break out box and wxm at least. Not sure on probes yet maybe down the line.
