dbartco September 2, 2014 Share September 2, 2014 I hate all the 'cassos, and whites, even the lightnings, but I really like these! I wish the longer fins were "flowy-er" than they are when swimming.
dave w September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 I saw them at the breeder's conference in July, Matt Pederson has these variants and many others. His presentation is online somewhere and incredibly good for those that like clownfish. There will be more variations to come.

elbowdeep88 September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 What are they hybrids of? Are the clowns mixed with another type of fish? They look like bettas
dbartco September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 At least the lightnings are natural and not hybrids to look like that Hybrids? Or genetic mutation. As SA explained - The mutation was found, and bred with others to produce a % of regular and mutated versions. Like the others, they are still the same species of occellaris. davelin315 September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 Yes, they said they found a couple of genetic mutations with this and have begun selective breeding.

davelin315 September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 By the way, I also really liked them. Not very interested in designer clowns, but these are pretty. I also like bettas... By the way, SA will have a very large presence at our MACNA, we made sure of that!
